I’m Lorenzo, an ISA surf instructor.
I teach surfing and surf skating, which I believe it to be the best tool for intermediate surfers in improving their technique fast.
Surf lessons last around 2-2.5 hour, or until you are tired 🙂
Surf-skate lesson last 1 hour and cost 30€ per person.
All lessons include all necessary equipment.
I can pick you up around Sagres and drop you off after our surf or skate session. Depending on swell and wind conditions we can surf different spots along the Costa Vicentina and the Algarve. This region of Portugal is blessed with a stunning coastline and endless surf spots.

I had one private surf class with Lorenzo and he was just perfect! I have been surfing for a year more or less but I still couldn’t do the pop up properly and turn. After a couple of checks, we went to a spot close to Sagres with fairly good waves and not so many people. He explained to me a lot of new things that other instructors, while having group classes, never ever mentioned. I was happy he made me take soooo many waves!! I couldn’t event count them..for sure the best surf session I’ve ever had! Sometimes he pushed me, other times he put me in the right position for taking the wave by myself. In only 2 hours in the water with him I felt I’ve improved a lot, especially because he was continuously telling me what I was doing wrong and how I could change it. I still can’t believe I’ve been able to take some long ones were I perfectly stood and also turned right a little bit! Unfortunately, I had to leave the day after and I couldn’t have other classes. But if you are around and you are looking for a competent surf instructor, whichever your level is, Lorenzo is definitely the person for you 🙂
