Siargao is like Bali 20 years ago. The remote island with thousand of palm trees will make all your surf dreams come true. Uncrowded lineups and glassy waves. The island is just enough developed to offer a good variety of restaurants and accommodations. Siargao is yet still free of big hotel complexes and traffic.
Some surf spots like the world famous Cloud 9 are reachable by tuk tuk or scooter. For the outside reefs you need to take a boat from the pier in General Luna. You can either stay in General Luna or around the Cloud 9 area. Both areas are pretty close and good connected.
